MISSION & HISTORY.

Discipling the Nations through God's Word...Demonstrating God's Mercy to Children Around the World.

Richard Michalski and his parents Olga and Roman Michalski started missions work in Poland, and East Germany in the late 1960's. Upon marrying Sara Ilyin in 1971, Richard and Sara started working with World Christian Ministries of Toronto, Canada. They ministered with WCM, raising funds in the USA, UK and Canada. These funds enabled Richard and Sara to pursue God's calling on their lives, taking in thousands of Bibles and Christian literature into Communist countries.

Impact Ministries was born out of a desire to reach even further into the depths of the former Soviet Union and other communist nations.  Impact Ministries was founded in 1982 by Richard, Roman & Sara Michalski. Impact 's acronym was International Ministries Presenting A-Risen Christ Today! Impact Ministries' main vision since its inception has been reaching the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Bible distribution, preaching and teaching of the word, equipping the local church, and reaching orphans, widows and those in need tangibly. In addition to these main goals, Impact helped to establish and plant over 1,400 autonomous churches, helped finance and build over 250 church buildings, and purchased and distributed over 10,000,000 Bibles and New Testaments to pierce the darkness throughout the former Soviet Union, China, and other Communist countries. Richard and Sara ministered side by side right up until Richard's home going in January of 2017.

Impact Ministries continues to fulfill its vision under Sara's leadership. The needs now are greater than ever before.  Russia, Ukraine and other former Soviet Islamic Republics have continued to make it more and more difficult to preach the name of Jesus. Time is short and this window may forever close at any given moment.  Please help us reach the lost while the windows are open. Your participation will affect eternity for those that are lost.
